"Graphene & 2D Materials" One-day symposium
One-day symposium organised in collaboration with ICN2 (Spain)

Medical doctors meet nanotechnologists: recent trends in nanotheranostics
This session coordinated by Prof. Jonel Trebicka from University Clinic Frankfurt, Germany will gather researchers of both sides, medicine and nanotechnology. The idea is to share their expertise and overall their needs for cutting edge research and development in the area of diagnostics and therapies using nanomaterials and nanotechnologies including nanotheranostics of major diseases.

Ethical and societal issues of nanotechnology
Coordinated by Prof. Itziar de Lecuona from University of Barcelona, Spain this session has as objective to discuss through talks of experts various aspects of ethical and societal issues of nanotechnology applied to health, safety and security (food, agriculture) and other industries.

Meet Editors of Biosensors and Bioelectronics journal
This session will be coordinated by Editors of Biosensors and Bioelectronics, an Elsevier international journal devoted to research, design, development and application of biosensors and bioelectronics. Various B &B editors will speak about their research related to nanobiosensors. Co-Editor in chief will talk about the journal and important aspects with interest for authors that are willing to publish at this prestigious journal.

Future projects/networking
Coordinated by Dr. Ameli Schwalber, from Concentris and Dr. Wolfgang Kniejski from INI-Novation, both from Germany, this session has as objective to meet together experts and specialists in the area of nanotechnology project building/writing and networking related to areas of special interest for health, environment, energy. Short presentations of project ideas trying to have an in-situ partnership/consortium formation between participants also are previewed. A limited number of participants is previewed. Registering and sending of a short abstract on a 5 min project idea presentation (by e-mail to organizers) is mandatory.

Satellite workshop: "2nd Workshop on Nanotechnologies for 21st century: Cooperation event between Albania, Japan and Spain"
After the 1st workshop organized in Tokyo this year http://www.1and2dm.com/2020/nanoworkshop.php this 2d Workshop, based on invitation and a limited number of participants (upon request/e-mail to the organizers) will be gathering scientists including responsible of various institutions from the three countries and will be coordinated by NanoAlb (Albania), ICN2 (Spain) and Keyo University (japan). The idea is to show the various research lines of nanoscience and nanotechnologies and their applications in important areas such as life sciences, information technologies and energy and overall new collaboration opportunities and funding that may be available for such cooperation.

Satellite workshop: "Workshop on Nanotechnologies for 21st century: Cooperation event between Albania, Czech Republic and Spain"
  To be confirmed

School: "Nanobiosensors school"
This will be an one day school, coordinated by Prof. Arben Merkoçi and Dr. Claudio parolo from ICN2, Barcelona, Spain and Dr. Daniel Quesada from PaperDrop, Barcelona , Spain. It will be dedicated to practical aspects and demonstrations related to design and application of interesting nanobiosensors (optical, electrical). Well known international experts will be sharing tutorial talks on recent nanotech-based sensing and biosensing technologies. Some ‘live’ design and building of sensing platforms and demonstrations will be part of this course. A limited number of places is previewed. Registering for this course during TNT registration is mandatory.
